The programme will be a follow up of the Master of Science degree course in Animal Genetics and  Breeding except that students will be required to put more emphasis on areas of thesis research.

The programme will be a follow up of the Master of Science degree course in Livestock Production Systems except that students will be required to put more emphasis on areas of thesis research.

The programme will be a follow up of the Master of Science degree course in Animal Nutrition and Feed Science except that students will be required to put more emphasis on areas of thesis research.

Normally, the candidates will be required to carry out their thesis research under supervision and subsequently compile a thesis which would be presented for examination in the prescribed manner for Doctoral Thesis in all faculties.
