The USAID One Health Workforce -Next Generation (OHW-NG) project, in collaboration with AFROHUN Kenya, invites current undergraduate students in Student One Health Innovation Clubs (SOHICs.) to the One Health Demonstration site 2021.
The One Health Demo Site Field Attachment is a multidisciplinary, experiential training in community engagement concerning assessment of infectious disease threats. As part of the program, successful applicants will attend mandatory theoretical classes from 26th-31stJuly 2021, followed by a field attachment from the 2nd-13thAugust 2021. Students will carry out One Health Field activities which will involve site visits, community education, awareness campaigns, home visits, etc in surrounding areas within Loitokitok, Kajiado County. The students will present their findings to the relevant stakeholders and the university thereafter.
All applications must be written in English according to the guidelines indicated on the application form and should be submitted by 9thJuly 2021.
